(DM)Restoring the self respect and dignity of Tamils in Sri Lanka which was destroyed by Velupillai Prbhakaran and certain political leaders in the South lies in the hands of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and this government, Transport Minister Dullas Alahapperuma said.
The government never considered the innocent Tamils who fled the jackboot of LTTE as destitute people or people who should be treated differently, he stressed. Full text
