We are on the ‘Path of reason’ - a reply HLS

(TI)Unless HLS thinks that a national government is not complete without a Ranil Wickremasinghe on the cabinet, Sri Lanka already has a national government with all political parties sharing executive and legislative powers. Only JVP, UNP and Prabakaran’s proxy TNA are out of it. It is not a perfect union, but a president who is a prisoner of MPs under the bahubootha constitution of JRJ has accomplished a miracle by bringing a diverse group under one umbrella. After all, Tamils now have a president who speaks to them in Tamil. This is the first time a village man became the leader of the country by popular vote. Full Text
