(DM)Newly appointed Jaffna Security Forces Commander Major General P. Samarasinghe assumed his duties after a brief religious ceremony on Sunday.
The ceremony took place at the Palali military headquarters before a large gathering of senior officers.
Later the new Commander inspected the guard turn-out and received the Guard of Honour accorded by the 1st Field Engineering Regiment. Full Text
