SIS constable in BIA racket

These men deserve public execution

(LB)A constable attached to the State Intelligence Service (SIS) was found intimidating Tamil travellers going abroad and robbing them of their valuables. CID officers recovered € 600 of money stolen from a Tamil victim who was to leave for Italy.
It has now been revealed that an organized gang was operating in the vicinity of the BIA.
The gang is said to rob these persons by threatening them saying that they will be arrested as LTTE suspects or that they will not be permitted to leave. A youth from Jaffna at the BIA hoping to leave for Italy had been robbed of around € 1000 by a member of this gang. Full text
