Plan to close down Colombo branches of foreign banks revealed

(TI)A top official says there could be a conspiracy by Western countries to destabilise Sri Lanka’s economy by compelling foreign banks to close down their branches in the country.

Right throughout Sri Lanka’s humanitarian efforts to rid the country of terrorism, Western interests have been trying to pressure the government against military operations on the LTTE citing humanitarian concerns. But they failed. Full text Share on Facebook
