Govt. will consider genuine proposals No ‘sight-seeing tours’ of former war zone for foreigners - HC

(TI)The British government has pledged a further £5 million for de-mining and livelihood recovery of IDPs as they return to their homes in Sri Lanka.

Minister Mike Foster, Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for International Development, tabling a Written Ministerial Statement in the House of Parliament last week noted that so far Britain has given £12.5 to Sri Lanka. Full text Share on Facebook
