Crime and punishment

(asianewsnet)Some people just don’t learn from their mistakes. One wrong move follows another, and they never realise that things aren’t going to plan.

Take David Miliband. For what seemed like months, he went about insisting that what was needed in Sri Lanka was a ceasefire, bashfully called a humanitarian pause. This would allow civilians to escape the fighting, he claimed, as if the LTTE would give up its most effective weapon. Full text
